We are not a corporate undertaking and we do not have any ties to corporations or large organizations. This website is run by @lisab and @johnb with the help of other volunteers in the community. As a small community-driven organization, we rely on the support and help of like-minded individuals and organizations who share our vision for a more learner-centered approach to education.
Our goal is to create a friendly community that encourages and supports unschooling on the island.
Here are some of the ways you can help support us and the community:
One-time Donation
One of the easiest ways to support us is by making a donation through Stripe, PayPal, or Venmo. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and go towards supporting our website and community events.
On-going Patronage
If you would like to offer more regular support, in the form of monthly or quarterly donations, we would welcome you as one of our "top-tier" supporters.
Businesses & Organizations
We also offer sponsorship opportunities for businesses, individuals and organizations who wish to regularly support our community and be listed on our Supporters page. Our sponsorship packages include a range of benefits, such as social media promotion, logo placement on our website, and recognition at community events. We work closely with our sponsors to ensure that they receive the exposure and recognition they deserve, while also staying true to our core values and mission.
